A Lifetime of Experience
Beverly Burnette has nearly 40 years of horsemanship experience, has been named 1996 NCHJA Horseman of the Year, and has been prominently featured in Practical Horseman magazine. She has had a wealth of experience that she enjoys sharing with her students. This knowledge allows them to become better riders, and develop closer relationships with their horses in order to reach their maximum potential. Beverly is available for a variety of horse and rider training services, and horse show judging, in the piedmont region of North Carolina. She resides in the Chapel Hill area.
Beverly is the head trainer at Starberry Acres, LLC, a premier show barn in Mebane, NC. Starberry Acres offers sports management and care of hunter/jumper and dressage performance horses.
Starberry Acres Amenities include:
- Covered shed row area of personal space for each horse boarded at the main barn
- Airy 12x12 stalls
- Attached 120 x 200 covered arena with lounge viewing area
- 150 x 250 outdoor arena complete with full course of jumps
- Full bathroom with shower, lounge and tack combined area, washer and dryer
- Two wash stalls and three separate grooming stalls
- Equine sports massage therapist
- Interns to exercise your horse at an additional cost
- Miles of trails around the perimeter of our farm available to hack out your horse
Beverly also travels to teach and train at other stables in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, NC including Pond View Farm and Chapel Hill Equestrian. She teaches clinics regularly at Voxton Farm ( Camden, SC) and Meadow Lane Farm (Darlington, SC), among others.
